Obituary

I was the oldest of 7, Mike the youngest. We got along great and were always glad to see each other. I will miss him.

Dear Lorraine and Michael’s family, Michael was a kind, thoughtful, and sweet man. I’m glad we had a nice friendship for many years. “Only the good die young” is absolutely true about Michael. We will miss him.

With a mixture of sadness and gratitude, I think of my brother Michael. At family events there was always lots of raucous conversation about sports and politics, but through it all, Michael was easygoing, a calm and enduring presence. In spite of life's many challenges and curve balls, Michael always did his best to show up - especially for Sam's soccer and baseball games, or Lauren's musical performances in school. He was so proud of his kids. I send condolences and loving thoughts both to Lauren and to Michael's loving partner, Lorraine. Thank you, God, for putting Michael into my life, and thanks Michael for your gifts of equanimity, loyalty and love. We will miss you!
