Obituary of Marilyn Cooke

Alice "Marilyn" Cooke was born in 1933 as the first child of Sam and Kate Berman. She was raised on the Lower East Side of New York City. She had 3 siblings. Her sisters, Sandra and Sydelle, who pre-deceased her, and her brother, Michael, survives her. Marilyn was the loving mother of Staci, Candace, Kelly and Kerry. The Grandmother of Helen, Andrew, Jamie and Jacob, and the Great Grandmother of Christopher, Jackson, and Aria. She was the Aunt of Lori and the late Merle. Loving mother-in-law to Joey and Maureen. She was the Great Aunt of Mica and Tommy. Her marriage to William "Bill" Cooke lasted 33 years and only his passing parted them. Marilyn worked at the NYC Rent Control, where she met her husband and then for Bloomingdales department store for over 25 years. She is, and always will be, loved and missed by all.
